Here we go.

The box was wrapped in protective bubble stuff, quite thick as well.

Inside the box was tightly packed as well.

And on my desk it looks stunning. Played a few 1080P movies and it's just awesome.

Not a dead pixel in sight, and pretty much no backlight bleed that I can see. The only niggle was the protection plastic on the bezel being caught inside along most of the top and a bit of the left hand side, but I managed to pull it out fine. No weird noises coming from it or anything, and the screen isn't as reflective as I thought it would be.

Only thing I could do with is a decent colour profile.

And yes I have a picture of me and my girlfriend on my desk. :)

Yeah having a look on OCN it's just the stand, doesn't seem to be any prominent evidence that the panel is better.

According to the Nvidia control panel the monitor is HDCP capable. I thought they weren't?

Mine has the Super stand so must have just been normal they added the super stand too to make a super. The panels are identical between the super and normal.

I have had no issues playing Blu-rays so they must be... ?

Ah okay fair enough. Really happy with this purchase! :) Now just need to figure out how to run CS:S at this resolution.

Or actually re-download that'll make sure of the screen and not just FM & CS:S :D

After reading all of the reviews and recommendations I have also put in an order for the 27" PCBANK from big cloth. Can't wait to see what it's like - fingers crossed for a good one :)

How is the stand connected to the PC Bank version? It seems the Yamakasi has the stub of the stand built into the case :/

Hmm my screen has started to flicker slightly every now and again. I get a quick line across the screen and a flicker. It could be my 7970 and the drivers as I have had issues since changing to the 12.4 drivers. Really hope it's not the screen dying after a week as one of my old screens did something similar and then just died...

Edit - Problem solved, It seems to be the new 12.4 drivers from AMD a clean up and re-load to 12.3 and all is fine...

My catleap has the same VESA mounting holes behind the silver strip on the back. To remove the attached stand you have to take the monitor apart to unscrew it. I will probably buy a stand (allcam mms01) sometime soon as I need my catleap lowered. :D

Edit: also, i have not yet left feedback for the seller as i want to leave it for a few days at least just incase something goes wrong with the monitor.

Just had a weird problem when the screen went all purple. Restarting and unplugging / plugging the cable back in and it's fine now. I'm guessing this is just because of **** cable quality?

Under the plastic covers on the one I have is a bolt to tighten the tilt mechanism. The MDM11S has a joint in the middle of the arm which this does not ?
Ah yes, you're right, mine lack the extra arm joint. Last bit has a different shape as well, hopefully that means you have a better rotate screw thingy along with it.

That's why I've ordered another one due to the dubious quality of the one supplied.

Hmmm I'll order that if it does it again just to be on the safe side. Hasn't done it since though. :)
