65-90mins depending on how the trains are running/how long I have to wait for buses etc.
Route to work =
Walk from home to bus stop
Bus to station
Fast train from Orpington to London Bridge (one of the few perks of starting at 8am, although I've never got a seat).
Walk down to the Underground
Jubilee Line to Canning Town (5 stops, if I don't get a seat initially, I always get one once we get to Canary Wharf as 90% of the Tube get off there)
DLR to East India (1 stop)
Short walk into work
Not the worst, but not the best. The journey there is almost always quicker than the journey back. I work 12 hour days though so I avoid the rush hour home as I finish at 8 (although I get all the 'stayed behind for a drink' people), and the 3-4 days a week I'm at work are solely work days and means I do nothing except wake up, go to work, go home, go to bed, then I have anywhere between 4-6 days off to do whatever I want. Works out alright I suppose. When I'm doing nights it's an easy journey both ways except for the Tube into work as you have a combination of people who're coming home from work and people going to the O2, so it can get stupidly full.
