'this' was an AMD Opteron 939 I think
E8400
i5 Ivy Bridge (2012 - 2019)
AMD Zen 2 3600

Does this count? MiSTer FPGA - it can be a BBC, Amiga, up to a PS1, nearly any 8bit/16bit CPU and play games that are exactly like the original experience.

Moto 68000
AMD K6 233, K6 350, K6 450
AMD Athlon 1ghz, Athlon 1.6ghz
AMD 64, AMD 64 x2
Intel E5200, Intel Q6600 (mistake)
Intel 3570k
AMD 3600, 3900x, 3700x, 5600g

Mine
- AMD Phenom x4 9850
- i7 980
- i5 750
- i5 3570k
- i7 5820k
- AMD 5600 - just getting this setup, got temp issues.

- Low power variant of AMD Turion or Athlon in 2006, I don't remember, I grabbed some cheap prebuilt PC at the time.
- AMD Phenom 955 II X4

- and like 4 different Intel CPUs, I don't remember what I had, then sold my last PC around 2014 and didn't have a PC again until AMD first launched their Ryzen series, I just got by with my laptops.

- AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

And that's not including the CPUs I had in laptops/mini PCs.

Considering on getting 5900X or 5950X next when the prices drop some more (hopefully) when 7000 series launches since then upgrade again in about 2-3 years, since I'm on AM4, I don't have a lot of options for upgrades without moving on to a platform.

Intel 4440 (htpc)
AMD 5800X
AMD 5700G (htpc)

might be a few missing, but that's the broad strokes.

I can remember the days you would be jealous of people having a faster cpu than yourself, because in the 90s and early 2000's memory and cpu clockspeed made a huge difference for gaming. It was like being able to run a game or not.. I use to love those days where you were really excited about upgrading, but nowadays I dont know if its because Im older, but I dont really get excited about upgrading anymore?

Pentium 3
Pentium 4
Pentium D
Pentium e2140
i5 2500k
Ryzen 5900x

Jump from 2500k to 5900x was amazing lol

Intel i3 3320
Intel i5 3470
Intel i5 4670k
Intel i7 6700k

I’d actually have no issues going AMD but every time I’ve upgraded, the Intel variant has been better suited to my requirements/preferences :-)
