Your current Fish tank Setups!

Wow that is nice mate, is there any need for dosage for alkalinity, calcium magnesium and all that?
And do you know if it can tolerate nitrates as that is my only fear, it is around 20ppm.

Cheers

Unfortunatly with nems they arent like coral, everyones different rather than from
A big colony so you just have to sorta suck it and see with nems!

So I have took the new bubbletip anemones back this morning. Is it ok to turn light on or shut I keep them off. The powerheads are off. I checked the sg of the water it came in. 1.035 is ridiculously high right :O

Leave the lights off for a few hours. Id turn the powerheads back on as soon as they look like they have attached to the rock (usually doesnt take long) then they can play the “find somewhere i want to stay for
A bit” game (usually behind a rock so you cant see them.

Just leave them to it and hopefully they find somewhere that your both happy with.

Woke up this morning and one of mine has moved from a nice sheltered spot in the rockwork to here, no idea why they follow no rules

Ok cheers mate, I check the guys water which was 1.

Wow yeh they seem unpredictable on where they want to be, my tomato clown is already to get either one of them to open up more lol. hopefully it would be fine in the next coming days.

Aneomone's follow no rules and don't care if they go find a nice powerhead to blend themselves in. Mines gotten comfy now and hasn't moved in afew weeks again. I know flow is a major obstacle for him and he wanted more of it.. MP10 purchased and hes been ok since (as long as i don't let the foam pad get too clogged :') )

Slowly but surely putting my tank back together.. by that the RO machine is working overtime to fill the circa 250litres needed

That would take me 2 days :') Goodluck!
Whats your plans for tank?

Be getting my corals back from a friends tank, see if I can get my hands on some clams again

150gpd RO unit with booster pump.. I'm nearly 8hours in and probably only need to run it another 3 or 4 hours

When i started again i usually buy my ro water, saves waiting 3 days for it to make 300+ ltrs and then mix the salt water myself.

I have a fairly large RO unit along with a booster pump so 250l if I run it continuous is only about 12hours tops for the water needed (maybe a touch more as the pump has to be off every so often)

Found my dracula goby on the floor when i came in just now. Happy christmas to
Me :(

Off to buy a net top and a relacement goby tomorrow in the sales i think.

Lucky advanced aquarium aquatics is only a walk away so can skip the nightmare traffic round here.
