Your motoring irritations

Oh, there's a little bit of mist, although visibility must be at least a mile still, if not more.

Nevertheless, apparently ALL FOGLIGHTS MUST GO ON IMMEDIATELY, a few full beams seemingly aren't to be sniffed at either.

Right now my hate is so focussed on cyclists that all other motoring hates seem minor in comparison.

Cycling in -2 Celcius on roads that have black ice on them with no helmet or reflective coating is madness. You may as well tell your family to start saving up so you can have a decent coffin.

Convoys of old people (because they always are) closely following lorries on country roads.
This means anyone wanting to overtake has to pass the lorry AND its little collection of wrinkly hangers on instead of being able to pass each vehicle individually, making the whole manoeuvre far more dangerous.

Admittedly I don't do a lot of overtaking these days, but I try and leave a gap around me so others can press on without having to risk their neck.

Ninja cyclists made a dramatic appearance last night. Fog, ice.....no back lights, no helmet, black clothes. you almost deserve to be knocked off. ****ing idiots.

Lol at most people in this thread, stop being concerned with other peoples driving and concentrate on your own. Your the ones with the problem if your letting other peoples driving effect you.

And the ones that wish harm on others, seriously, sort your self out.

To be a good driver you have to be aware of everyone and everything at all times.

Stupid actions by stupid people can leave you with the repair bill.

Most arent, but some are it seems, like the ones that state someone going slow, GET OUT OF MY WAY. No you pass them when its safe to do so.

* You're

We are not the only ones with "problems" it would appear.

MongLights & their inappropriate use.
People who cant drive their cars properly in moist or icy conditions.
Tailgaters.
Lorry drivers who overtake on dual carriageways at 56 in the outside lane.
Lorry drivers overtaking at all.

I dont like being behind vans and big vehicles, you can't see whats infront of them.
I also dont like people who brake to meet speed limits. If its going from a 40 to 30, you don't need to slam on, just drift down to 30 jeez.

It's not as bad as it used to be but I still notice a large amount of people using their fogs even when there is no mist or fog at all. I think people must feel 'cool' with their fog lights on?

Also the classic driving at 30 in a national then speeding up when actually getting to a 30 zone.

These are minor irritations really, I tend not to get annoyed very often unless something potentially dangerous happens.
