Your motoring irritations

People who pull out in front of me, and then take ages to get to anything like a reasonable speed.

People who cant use roundabouts with more than one lane leading up to them properly, despite signposting (one in particular heading into Wrexham on the A483 comes to mind)

Another one is road rage. Some people seem to drive with their finger poised over the horn ready to blast their annoyance at the first opportunity. I occasionally lean on the horn after someone trys to wipe me out on a roundabout but afterwards I just end up thinking that I'm the bigger ****.

A friend of mine is always going on about "I'd have beeped him then" "FFS what are they waiting for..." etc. all over the smallest of issues. If he covered 20k a year like I do he'd have a heart attack the way he goes on!

Audi drivers.

Why the hate :(

I hate drivers who come up behind you in the middle lane, when your overtaking something in the inside lane, when the outside lane is clear. As soon as you move back into the inside lane, they put their foot down and speed off, still in the middle lane.

If you want to go faster, GO AROUND!!!!

Aftermarket headlight bulbs (non factory spec)

For me, anyone using these should get an instant 3 points.
Yes I know its possible to improve on the original, especially as the car ages but its just opened the playing field for dickheads using bulbs that are extremely annoying at night.

Not knowing the procedure at roundabouts.

Surprising but true, especially in North Manchester, the person on your right sits there and waits for you to go

Hogging the outside lane on motorway

Get angry just thinking about this one.

Rubber necking at accidents causing a tailback twice as long as it would otherwise be.

I hate it when people stand on their brakes at night for prolonged periods instead of using their handbrake. My biggest problem is with newer Audis and Minis fitted with LED rear clusters which I find to be far far too bright.

What are your pet hates?

I guess you wouldn't like one feature of my Honda Insight. For Auto Stop to work you have to sit with your foot on the brake. Lift off the brake and the engine restarts.

I would love someone to reprogram it so it would just autostop when you put the car in neutral with foot off the pedals.

When an accident is on the other side of the motorway, yet your side has slowed to a crawl. Thats what really drives me baloney.

Yes, been in that situation too, you see flashing blue lights in the distance, traffic slows to a crawl and when you get there 30 minutes later its on the other side

My favorite is when you sit in a jam, and as you get moving again, you see there was no reason what so ever to of been sat there, on your side, or the other.
