I dunno if it's worth writing a letter - unless it's an email - as it'll turn up in a couple of days when you might know more about the whole thing anyway.

You don't need to explain yourself to her mum, why should you?

If you're still bothered and you can get hold of the phone number, just ring up with (feigned) concern about where the hose-beast might have got to.

gonna have to put this in my sig that shes ex directory and I couldnt get the number unless I called the cops again, not wise..

I know, but wasn't someone going to try a 192 for you? :p

I just reckon a letter would take too long, really, unless it's just a letter of apology. But why do you care what her mum thinks about you anyway? She might be just as whacked-out in the head as the girl is.

trying to get more free credits! i had enough to get me the address and postcode... i think they've stopped their "do surveys for free credits" scheme :(

Of course this is presuming that her mother even knows about the cunning holiday story. For all you know br0 the mother knows nothing of it. Mention it to the hilt tbh, i'd play on it a little, mention having to travel to pick up a passport, or booking time off work etc.

am actually suprised the middlesbrough police even contacted her mum :O bunch of lazy gits usually (not all of course just a select 99% )

Indeed, if you're going to send a letter then explain everything and don't assume that her mother knows anything.

It's entirely possible that the reason her mother was able to get in contact with this girl last night is becuase she was tucked up in bed at home with no intention of coming to see you.

Ive written the bomb and it will be exploding tommorow hopefully :D Long as it gets there, hope she doesnt recognise my handwriting.

I dont care what the mum thinks, I just want to make sure she knows what a weirdo her daughter is so she can hopefully tell her off

So anyway this is just to apologise for causing you and your family distress but I was in exactly the same situation at my end and was just concerned for her. She is angry at me for upsetting you but it’s only because I care about her.

Ive tried not to be too angry sounding, I wanna sound like the good guy. Then her mum can be like "marie you never told me you were driving down to london" and so forth
