You're only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake

I've done this recipe again since the last time, twice in fact. The second time my missus brought over some cooking chocolate and it was amazing - maybe it's because I don't use self-raising flour, but the chocolate doesn't sink too much and the cake is nice and thick :D and with a bit of custard (3 packs for 60p at Morrisons :D) it makes for a great little pudding!

just made another only this time after mixing i whipped the mix with a whisk for 30 seconds. was awesome, much lighter. Also put a milky bar down the middle, this is also immense.

We tried this today with gluten free self raising flour and added milk as a precaution against dryness and it worked quite well. Next time I'm going to add a little more liquid.
Try adding xanthan gum instead of milk. Usually makes my gluten free cakes very nice.

Tried it today with galaxy drinking chocolate instead of coca... very sucessful and quite addictive - made a really nice light sponge... will taste even better IMO after a night in the fridge tho (prefer my chocloate cake cool and firm).
