Might try the marshmallows tonight as I'm about to finish up the first one......

The sheer amount of sugar tho going into this is enough to scare me into healthy eating for life... shows how long its been since I've done much cooking...
 
if you stir the flour too much once it's mixed in you stretch the gluten and it doesn't rise properly ;)

just made the cake with marshmallows...this time only did it for 1 min 30 at 700W looks like a much better cake, more spongy.

Will let you know if I survive :D

I also added golden syrup so this is going to be a huge sugar boost!

3 tablespoons here, ill have my heartattack after these lot :D

nothing wrong with a treat now and again, now go make one or... you never know you might be hit by a bus tomorrow and you missed the sweet spongy cocoa goodness :)

YES!!!

Added 5 halved glace cherries to the mixture, and used 3 TBSP butter instead of oil. Baked (lol) for 3:20 ish @ 800W. Words can barely describe the awesome!

the butter does make it taste a lot better imo
