YouTube Premium

theres a "cheapzy" way to get yt for $58 a year if you dont mind setting up a new account, you can also do it with an existing account but i wouldn't advise that! Spotify for $35 as well.

I just moved back to the UK, had a good few years in Turkey so can't complain. There's 5 of us that use it, so it's pretty good value really.

I am really disappointed to have to move back to the UK from Brazil. The price is just so drastic. The thing is we have it as a family which was such good value for money beforehand.

Landed in Poland this morning, signed in on the wife’s MacBook connected to WiFi, price is PLN25.99 per month or £5.08 a month for premium, happy with that. Paid using Revolut.

I’m in Poland too, but I can’t work out how to get it to show in PLN. The price keeps showing in GBP :/

The 27th is closing in fast here. 90% of my YouTube consumption is current via my desktop browser, so I’m hoping that be easy to sort out.

Changing location no longer works for me now. I wonder if those of us that have lived abroad and abused the system are being penalized?
I bought my subscription in India and have been advised by YouTube that payment must originate in the country of purchase. They have threatened to cancel the subscription once, but it auto renewed this month.
To answer you're question, I think they're slowly cracking down on stuff.

95% of my YT watching is on my PC and with uBlock Origin installed, I basically don't miss Premium at all when it comes to advert interruption. It's only when watching on my phone that ads are a problem.
