Nobody uses Turkey now, that hole has been plugged with the VPN route.
I assume that’s similar to go5050, or you’re sharing family package with strangers, I’m during this for £4.72.
Ah, I’ve misunderstood the steps then for the Apple gift card method. I thought you had to connect to a VPN during the process.

I wonder why Google isn't requiring country-specific bank-originated credit/debit cards in every country where they offer YouTube Premium instead of just some.
I assume that if they do enforce that rule across all countries, folks with iOS will switch to paying for the service via foreign iTunes gift cards.

Wonder why the turkey one was so heavily advertised when India is cheaper?
I wondered that myself, especially since the Indian Apple gift cards can be easily sourced from highly trusted retailers.
Did it work on your existing Google/YT account, or did you have to create a new one?

I had to create a new Gmail account for the Indian Apple ID because Apple don’t support [email protected], but my existing Google/YT account worked perfectly for the Premium subscription.

Exported all my content, over 20GB, forgot about some vids I had uploaded!
It's the sub list that was most important to me though - 450 subs I'd have to recreate for my feed!
The comments csv file is quite concerning too, after looking at it maybe it's best YouTube does just delete my account

I mean, they got an email from youtube and their channel was deleted.
A commenter in the thread is a 5 year reddit user and they report the same.
Could be BS, but could also be legit if YouTube want to scare the pants off people using VPNs, who knows until we have more info.
