I just use the default 4.6Ghz overclock settings and then turn on Power Saving on the same BIOS page (without the power saving I get a crash about once a week at idle). It works fine.I recently upgraded my bios from a 1.10 i think to the newest 2.something.
Since upgrading all of (a lot of) the settings have changed and as a result my old saved setting for a stable 4.4ghz overclock on my 2500k are no longer relevant.
I've had a play and can get a 4.5ghz stable, but 60% of the time when I turn my PC on it wont cold boot, and I need to keep holding the power button down to reboot it for it to turn on...
Has anybody got any recommended settings for the latest bios with a 2500k overclock.. i only want about 4.4ghz again...
Thanks!
I've been using it for about a month or so. no issues.Beta Bios L2.31A is out for Windows 8, anybody tried it yet?
