*** Zelda: Breath of the Wild ***

This is why I think Zelda is a better game than the likes of Far Cry 4, Witcher 3, Horizon etc. Can accomplish the same task in many ways :D

Yes, but it is a long stretch of land that goes all the way to the volcano. There are at least 2 of those things, but maybe 3 as you walk along. The badlands is split into like 3-4 areas and most areas had one of those guys.

I have done over 60 shrine's and have 17 hearts now. I will go and see if I can kill one of those things tonight :D

Oh and I went on a hunt for Durian for 5-10 minutes and found around 22 of them! Boy are they great, made 4 meals of them. I will use one when taking on those horse guys. Will have 37 hearts once consumed a meal :p

Don't the hearts limit out at 24 even with buffs?!

I chopped down a tree, lined it up, and balanced across carrying the ball...

haha, nice! :)

Ha, i'll probably end up buying it again when the DLC lands anyway ;)

In the mean time i've picked up Shovel Knight so i'm playing that. Pretty damn good!

They actually limit to 30 it seems. As I ate one to test and max can have two lines of 15 hearts. Damn. What a waste of my durian, I wonder if I could have done 3 or 4 only instead of all 5 per cook.

Yeah it's such a cool game. I was playing it in bed the other night to try it out in handheld. I love the style and the humour. When you die it doesn't matter because you know it was totally your own fault. Perfect game for the Switch.

It's pretty tricky at times as well, a real throwback to the platformers back in the day! For £23 it feels like a bit of a steal considering you get all the campaigns to date.

The music is pretty funky as well :P

I forgot who it was here, but someone said they saw a shining light far away, but why the time they got there it was gone. Just to let you know, what you saw was a Star Fragment. I managed to get there and grab it in time by gliding most the way. Not sure what it does yet, but will find out soon.

Anyone else have them? What is so special about them? :)

Love the music too!

TNA - I saw a shooting star/meteorite land but couldn't get to it in time. I should really spent more time exploring at night.
Ah so it was you :)

They sell for 300 but I am sure you can do something more useful with it. So I am keeping it for the time being.

Yeah, makes sense. I just found the last fairy. Need to go get some ancient gears now, running low.

10K... I only have 4K at the moment. Could see stuff and have that much, but I think I will just come back later.

Yeah have fun with that. 70 springs etc, 8 gears.

Gears seem to be ridiculously sparse compared to the other stuff.

Went around Hyrule Castle and must have killed 10 or so Guardians. Ended up with 50+ gears in no time. Went and upgraded my guardian armour set from level 1 to 3. Now each piece is 18 armour so I am now rocking 54 armour. Lol!

As I have so much armour I decided it was time to kill some of those tanky arrow shooting horse guys. No problem taking them on now. Two down, three to go :)

Now that I have the master sword, there is no need what so ever for ancient arrows. Just pop one normal arrow in the guardians eye and finish it off. I just personally enjoy chopping their legs off and then finish off. As for stationary guardians, I just sneak behind and finish off easily without the need to even use an arrow :)

Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the minute just wandering around doing the odd shrine without any direction..picked up a couple of sidequests in a stable but have a red exclamation mark next to them so guessing be to hard for me at the minute. Hoping something just clicks with it soon.

I'm at the same stage really. Not gone to any of the 4 DBs yet, just wandering around doing temples and picking scraps with enemies to get a feeel for the game.
