The zombie paint sets are quite good, the zombie shader in particular is really good, I've got some pics of my first attempts of painting zome zombicide zombies, so I'll put some on this thread tonight. My poor painting aside, the colours and tones work really well. I'd recommend the army painter necrotic flesh or skeleton bone colour spray primers too.

I oredered the lot + some skeleton bone colour , the only i cant seem to find is something to take the gloss look once painted, everywhere seems to be out of stock and the army painter one does not get good views

Firestorm Games, have some testors Dull Cote in stock, its my preferred finishing spray, and does a good job at toning down the mini's. I've ordered plenty of stuff from them and never had a problem. Excellent customer service etc.

Here a some pics of my minis currently being painted mostly with the zombicide paints, apologies for the poor pics, the lighting is terrible :) I won't apologise for my lack of painting skills :)

Based with necrotic flesh, and shaded with the zombie shader.

I followed the army painter zombicide guide process, the initial soap and water washing is quite important Linky.. Zombicide-Painting-Guide.pdf.

in addition to that there are a couple of really good youtube videos, which should allow you to at least equal my efforts :) Miniature Painting 101

The army painter brushes are ok, I use the character brush for large areas, the detail and fine detail brush for the smaller areas, and the psycho brush is great for tiny details, although its a very delicate brush tip.

The other good thing with zombies, is any mistakes, pretty much can be covered up with the liberal application of blood splatter paint... the ones above will be getting that treatment shortly :)

Oh, and of course, even my worst paint jobs, add much more theme to the game, than the blank plastic ones, I suspect even primed and washed minis without colour would still be an improvement over the dull plastic.

I've just discovered how useful Army Painter Quickshade dip is....wow!

I've made a start on painting zombies for all 3 game boxes and I think this will massively speed up the process.

I just finished my 30th mini and that quickshade is a god send, it fills in the gaps and adds the shade nicely. Im not going to enter any comps with my paining but I enjoyed it and is much better then the flat grey
