Zombicide!

I am hoping to have a 2 player blast of it with the gf either tomorrow or Saturday. Although I get the feeling a fair amount of alcohol will be involved so who knows how it will go
 
She told me after I had ordered it that she wasn't very tactically minded so I get the feeling it will be me playing for the both of us with her just being along for the ride. As long as I enjoy myself lol

I play with friends so usually 6 of us. Not failed a mission yet, enjoyed the 300 mission, feel that could be harder.
Our tactics aren't bad but the fun usually starts when we try to stitch each other up.
 
Very easy. Zombies always move 1 section towards the most noise (which is generated by survivor actions, ie. shooting a weapon or booting in a door). To spawn zombies at their entry points, a zombie card is drawn after each zombie turn.

Easy as that.

Also, more zombies, and different types, spawn as survivors level.

In comparison to other board games, such as Super Dungeon Explore, Descent etc, Zombicide is very simple and easy to pick up.

I bet you are looking at Zombicide on Amazon for £42. Absolute bargain at that price, you would be mad not to :)
 
Just played a game with the gf, the tutorial and the 1st mission in the book. The 2nd game was so much better than the tutorial missing.

The horde coming down from the north was scary. Wanda got overrun earlier in the game when we got a card that allowed all runners to have another turn.

So far I love this game and want to play more. The GF thought the tutorial was dull but loved this second mission and wants to play more but doesn't want to kill the game too early. She has agreed to a gaming night at least once a month so woohoo :)

Got paid so backed it. Can't really stretch to the extra bits as its £80 inc shipping.
6 days left and just short if their $400,000 stretch goal. It's guaranteed go as they hit their $50,000 goal quite early.
if it's half as good as Zombicide then its worth doing.

The expansions will be easy enough to find later, and probably cheaper too, the zombicide ones certainly are... Its the exclusives that tend to be trickier. The season 1 zombicide exclusives are going for proper money these days. I've pledged for the base set, and the exclusives, depending on how much money I've left after the christmas spend, I'll thing about adding anything else in the pledge manager, that will probably be open until the next pay day. :)
