Mine seems stable had no disconnects yet on ethernet , but early days since this is my day one

Mine was built in April 2023, btw mine has latest BIOS.

Some think the BIOS with AGESA 1.0.0.7c fixed it but I have not tried it, my USB NIC is working fine.

Thats the new one with AGESA 1.0.0.8. I updated to that the other day.

Guys is the Sonic Studio 3 worth installing on Win11?..I hear some users have issues with it on 11.

I used it on my old PC but don’t know if it’s still a thing as its not on the ASUS download page.

Well the Asus forums link gets it from Microsoft store,

Btw it's listed on the Asus webpage specs for the motherbard under Software feaures so is compatible with this board.

Thanks!..Updated mine just now, no issues all went smooth ,always do it from Bios and not Windows.

No matter how many times I have done BIOS update over the decades always nervous lol ...

Was looking at this board for a new build (or the B650E-F) but the coil whine and NIC issues are making me very nervous.

No issues with coil whine or NIC problems on my B650E-E but I'm not using mine at 2.5Gb.

PC still spin cpu and case fans for about a minute after system shut down. Is it a feature of amd Ryzen chips? Haven’t had that with intel.

Just found this, not sure if it will fix it - Check your power settings: Make sure that your power settings are configured correctly. Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do, and ensure that the "Shut down" option is selected. Disable Fast Startup: If you're using Windows 10, Fast Startup may be the culprit.

I had this years ago on a AMD Phenom rig. Not sure what the BIOS is like on Asus, but check the power settings for sleep etc?

I’ve disabled fast startup and now it’s acting normal.

I always disable fast startup in 10/11 from power options, btw you have one in BIOS as well on Asus ie "
What is fast boot in ASUS BIOS?

Fast Boot is a feature in BIOS that reduces your computer boot time. If Fast Boot is enabled: Boot from Network, Optical, and Removable Devices are disabled. Video and USB devices (keyboard, mouse, drives) won't be available until the operating system loads.".

What is fast boot in ASUS BIOS?

It was enabled - Ive disabled it. Looks like disabling it improves system stability(according to Asus).
