You gain the extra upload at the expense of a little bit of download bandwidth, so unless you really need that upload you'll probably prefer the Premium service (Annex M vs Annex A).
I've had to leave O2, their home access package is horrible. 150ms latency at peak times, phoned support and they wouldn't even admit to congestion problems. They said the problem was with my internal wiring and there was nothing they could do. "we supply you a connection to the internet, we don't support gaming", to hell with that. I wish LLU was available in my town
 .
.How long afer ordering did it take O2 to schedule the activation for you guys ?
Ordered exactly 1 week ago, welcome pack with router arrived but on their website the activation date is still listed as 'not yet started' ?

Was a day or 2 from order date to activation date.

Best way is to find your line stats, specifically your attenuation, from that you can get a good estimation of the speed you can expect. More info here.I gave o2 my mac code yesterday and now have an activation date of next friday on the Pro Package.
What speed should i be expecting, I am exactly 86 meters (102 meters "Cable length") from the exchange.
