If you want to do a 'new kit' thread, great. They're welcome (Take Raymond's 5d MkII thread the other week). But do it in a way that doesn't make you look like you're 12.
 
I got a two day ban for posting an innocuous comment in a thread just like this the other day. :( Some queer stuff going on round here at the moment. Where are they coming from? If it isn't the same guy that is. Its causing dome trigger happy don action if nothing else.
 
i must admit that of lately there has been a lot of braggers about on here.

still....make's for good reading and passing the time away.

i dont know about camera's but that does sound a bit to much like a blagger to me.

i for one would not come on here and brag about something that im doing in my life no matter how big or small.

all fake if you ask me.
 
I used to be in GD quite a bit, but recently it has gone downhill with spammers and just general rubbish. Hopefully this part of the forum does not go the same way.

Come Saturday we will see if he is telling the truth or not. Raikiri i think it will be 1:1 posts a image from the internet with the EXIF embedded showing it is a 5DMk2 but taken ages ago.
 
EXIF can be faked, he needs to photograph the camera with this thread in the background or something :p

but we'll see come Saturday, and who's eating the hats.

Sounds like he knows someone at Canon, recently a friend of mine picked one up for a similar price, unfortunately he couldn't get another for moi! :)
