What film did you watch last night?

Nothing last night, but Saturday night watched the Brilliant Dark Knight in HD on Sky, then watched Stone's weird, but still good Natural Born Killers...
 
I watched The Dark Knight last night. I felt like there were too many separate stories, then last 30 mins or more just felt really disjointed. I think I actually turned it off before the end because I was so bored! I saw it in the cinema when it came out but couldn't remember much of it. I normally like comic book movies, this one just felt messy.
 
Flight 93

Have seen it before - I felt the actors did a really good job at portraying the horror of the events leading up to and during the tragedy that is 9/11. Made me upset the first time - didn't fail the second time either :p

Also saw the final half hour of Phone Booth - Still love the film - So simple but it's very imaginative and keeps your on the edge of your seat.

Unfortunately yes. Perhaps I'm quoting how long my memory of the film lasted...

Also watched Terence Malick's The Thin Red Line last night.
Was mind blowingly good, will be watching again at the weekend hopefully.
 
The Green Mile.

I don't think I have seen it since the cinema (10 years ago!). It is often overshadowed by Shawshank but it was an incredibly moving and entertaining film!

I have to say The Dark Knight is very overrated. Heath Ledgers performance was good, but was barely in it. Also he was given nothing to do. Just turn up, say a few cool lines and kill the odd person. The Joker is nowhere near as good as the one in 89's Batman. It wasn't Heath Ledgers fault however, the blame it squarely on Nolans sholders. He looked freaky sure, but didn't back it up with being a manic. 89's Joker was really mean and distrubed and tried to gas half the city. Heath Ledger just distoried a hostipal....which was empty, and planted a couple of bombs....which didn't go off.

Now if the hostipal was full, then it would have been different


Saw Aliens Vs Monsters - Very good

Ice Age 3 - Very funny and a huge improvement on 2
 
Final Destination 3D.

Couldn't wait for it to end so I could go home and extract my eyes with a plunger. Absolutely abysmal.
 
17 again, got it for gf so had to watch it with her. had 2 chuckle moments but they dont make up for watching it. atleast it didnt have any singing.

Pretty poor attempt considering it was the last in the franchise.
