I doubt somehow PD have to pay people to play their game :D Other race games have the GTR its more likely that T10 didnt want to pay the licence. Pd designed the GTR interior so It may more than likely end up as Paid DLC at some point as its one big omission from the car list that im sure plenty of people want to drive so having it as paid DLC is a good idea from T10 point of view.

Forza 3 has started off pretty well, much better than Forza 2, forza 2 sold 127K in its first week, forza 3 looks to have done about 230K, as a comparison GT5 prologue sold 400K first week.
 
i have a question. Why in season mode does it let you race any car you want even though it says the race is for lower class cars?

eg. im currently in my R3 BMW GT2 racing against class B cars... seems abit unfair lol :confused:

Im pretty sure you get more XP points if your car is lower than stated. Its upto you if you wanna use a faster car but it will jsut ruin the game for yourself?

Gotta say though, this has kept me way more interested that Forza 2. I just prefer the way season play is laid out. Much better, then you have the option to do different races as you see fit. Only races i find really boring are those below D class :( But i gotta do them i suppose lol!
 
I see there is an achievement to get gold in every event in season play, I don't think I did in one of the first races in season one, is it possible to go back and re do this one?

I haven't tried the season/career yet. But the harder events have much more strict requirements. for example drag races are limited to HP and car class also, or just to a car class and reigon they're from. Of course the most strict are factory spec cars which allow you to race a single car only with no mods at all. Just depends how far into the game you are. At A class races and up is when it gets tough on hard ai i think.

I think its more of a guide, like you need a "B" car to be competitive.
