The son bought more lego today.

I must have tonnes of the stuff. I have about 5 castles robin hood style hideouts and about a million infantry/calvary, all the train sets, pirate ships and about 30 technics models.

Shame its all mixed in 10boxes in the loft. I will have to dig it out sometime and get some pics.

Those Star Wars look nice? Mini versions?

I'm ashamed to say I haven't opened any pack yet, instead I've put them away! :o

Oh yes! I got that for my 9th birthday or summink. wet myself with happiness. It was huge in the flesh and the attention to detail was amazing. I had the admiral ship and the other pirate one with the blue and white sails

those were the days.

The buggy looks better then the off-roader! Not done it yet though as I took my time building the off-roader...3 days to be precise :o

Edit: Nice Crane Truck there, don't like the red colour though. Prefer the look of the black Tow Truck :D

That reminded me of a time when we had to do show and tell at school when i was in primary school. I built the helicopter from the set I had and took it into class with me. When i fired it up i managed to cut one of my class mates head because i had not done up the nuts good enough on the blades (I dismantled it a little bit to fit it into my school bag).
 
Dont you hate it when you open the wrong cupboard up before Xmas lol.

When to look for some batteries today in the parents room and look what i found :D:D:D



Is it bad that there buying this for me at 23? haha or worst is that im so excited i cant wait for the 25th to start putting the 5195!!!!! lego pieces together :p:p:p:p:p
 
cool once its built you wont want to take it apart though and you could probably have bought a proper scale model for less.

like some of the lego cars cost almost as much an a nitro powered remote control car.

just seems crazy
 
^(2 posts up) I agree. Main reasons I've stopped buying lego are price, and lack of space.

Woah, I just noticed new space police III theme this year! Looks quite decent. :D

I had a look around in a shop today that sold toys with the GF I came across the the Lego section.. hmmm

Is it wrong for me (nearly 27 year old) to want lego to open for xmas day.. specifically City Lego and perhaps Lego train? Is ****** geeky but I gotta be honest I am fed up of opening presents on xmas day where the fun factor dies out after 5 minutes.

i had loads of lego back then :( wish i kept it all i dont even know where it all went lol.

had a bunch of technics aswell, had the forklift and a JCB + some other stuff from a holiday to blackpool when "poison" was #1 in the charts

found a youtube vid

sad thing is its better than a lot of lego stuff these days and would probably be one of the stupidly priced sets.

I'm a huge Lego fan. I've not done any for years the last thing I put together was the Lego technic car with the wired remote (forwards and backwards only)

Don't exaggerate, I'm pretty certain no Lego box retails for more than £100. most big ones are around £50. A nitro car is in the range of £300!:p

I like Lego, the boxes are easy to identify and stack!

I've gotta say after working in a toy store for a couple of weeks there are a few toys I really want, one is a Thomas the tank engine Ultimate set and the other is one or two of the Lego boxes.:o
