What film did you watch last night?

500 Days of Summer.

Is it gay that I absolutely loved it? Such a 'cute' film and at all the cringey moments you're sat there thinking 'I've definately been in that position'.

So yeah, would recommend.

Nah, it was a great film. Although the ending sliiightly dissapointed me and was a bit cheesey. Definitely worth a watch though.

Rise of the Footsoldier, not as good on the 2nd viewing although it wasn't that great first time either. Bad acting, bad sound effects and a bad wig.

@ Nymins, yeah I guess it probably does connect with something else in the film somewhere, was really late when I watched it so pretty much phased out of the last 10 minutes or so.

Just got in from watching The Book of Eli.

I liked it a lot apart from the obvious "wtf" twists. Action scenes were great I thought, a couple of funny moments which was good. Scenery, the emptiness of what was there set the scene very well.

It made you think in a way but then again it didn't, because you get nothing about the story line as such it seems like it's going to be complicated at the start but as you go through it just works out to be really simple and plain maybe because of the interaction between the characters, can't quite put my finger on it. Faith, belief, control all very complex and they are there just really plain I thought. Seemed to go through parts that should have been slow pretty fast as well.

The twists...well what can you say, me and my mate kept leaning over and saying what we thought would happen then only for it to be like "whaaat?!?" especially the ending my word that got a bit of a lol from me.

Apart from the twists I really liked it sooo... 7/10. :)

eli would be better if he was just regular traveller relying on wits/using environment to advantage not some how a world class swords man who just takes on 20 + men neo style.
