Really??...you haggled down to £89??...was that an upgrade or as a new customer...i spoke to them this morning and asked if they would budge on the price but they werent having any of it...i might wait till i get the phone then ring them up and say i want to return the phone as its too expensive.

But £89 for the phone seems highly unlikely as they would be losing money on the phone rather than making money...at the moment buying the £10pm over 24mths with £164 price tag works out to £404 all in which is around the price of them being sold sim free ie unlocked. Whereas your paying £329 all in...not saying your lying but i find it very hard to believe that they would reduce the price by that much.

I'm dubious too, you're buying a phone on their cheapest contract so it's not likely they are going to make much money out of you. Simfree the phone is about £400 even allowing for the fact there is some profit in there it doesn't leave much just for the normal ongoing costs of operating a mobile network.
I'm not saying he's lying either, it just wouldn't appear to make much business sense, no matter how many other phones you've bought from them.

I just got allocated mine from mobiles.co.uk :D

Phone should be with me tomorrow.

on a side note, has anyone found any good cases/covers for this phone yet?

It helps that i've bought three i suppose, mine, wifes and daughters.

Ahh fair enough i suppose....hmmmm still not sure if im going to go through with this...i just spoke to Tmobile and they say they have none in stock and dont know when they will be getting any in.

Phoned Orange for my PAC code.

I told them i was away on business for the next two weeks and i needed it NOW.

2 minutes later it was text to my phone :)

Guys, I too old to start lying to appear 'popular' in other peoples eyes.

I left O2 from having 3 iPhones on contract (since 2G's were launched) and told T-M that i wanted three desires, but wanted their best deal on the handsets, otherwise i would wait until O2 had them in, thats the price she came back with.

Not really bothered if it looks 'dubious' to you both or if it makes business sence for T-M, but i'm happy as are the mrs and Daughter :D

I got the Desire sim free for £399... such an awesome phone, I'm just not sure I made the right choice on buying sim free. I could probably sell it for £399 as it has only been out the box 1 day and is as new then buy a contract if I can find one.

I ideally would like a contract phone for £15 a month with unlimited texts and data, maybe 300 mins... but no where I can find does anything like this that. Any ideas? Thanks! or do the expensive route of keep sim free phone and buy o2 simplicity deal that fits my needs? and also I don't want any more than 18 months contract either... ideally Id like a 12 month but the only option there is the nice expensive one of keep my sim free and buy an o2 sim.

Also, the media playback through earphones is pretty loud even on the lowest setting... anyone else get this? It's pretty annoying not being able to turn it down even lower. Ta folks!

Just get it straight from T-Mobile mate works out at £404 with a 24-Month contract. I really dont see the point of getting it SIM Free or aless you dont get T-Mobile coverage in your area then fair enough

Ok well after ringing Tmobile...still no stock by the way ive cancelled my order as they werent willing to match the offers from mpd even if i went up to the £20pm...still wanted silly money for the phone.

Am gonna pop into my local Tmobile shop on my way home and see if they have any in stock...if they do then ill just do the £10pm over 24mth contract....at least ill have the phone straight away.

Found out they're in my local shop, reserved one there and cancelled my web order - will just go in and get the same cost.

Only thing is potential Quidco loss, but this'll mean I'll have the phone tonight - rather than some unknown point in the future and means I don't have to juggle missed deliveries.

Oh well my local one hasnt got any in stock so rung up Tmobile and re-ordered it but this time asked if they can knock the price down...to which she said yes ill knock it down £20 so result there i suppose....instead of £164 im now only paying £144 for the phone with 10pm over 24mths...unlimited internet and texts and 100 mins which suits me fine for the moment.
