I'm on a really old Dolphin 25 that gives me about 100 mins and texts, wanted the new Dolphin 25 @ £22.50 but they wouldn't give it to me.

Being polite to those guys helps I find, but in the end when they said I'd have to pay for the phone I said I can get the phone for free from Vodafone or T-Mobile, so after waiting on hold for five mins they said I could have it for free.
 
The issue i had with vibrate was easily sorted by a hard reset. The stock Android backup app is quite good. Backs up most things..
 
Mine had to go back.... wasn't recognising any SD card I put in that would read fine on the PC and my 5800, even after a hard reset.

Kept saying there was none inserted :(

Damn just rang. £25pm but she wouldn't take off the cost of the handset, so still £100. Apparently it had already been discounted £50!

Edit - Though I did ring up the upgrade section as my contract ends 15th June. I guess you went through retentions?

Even considering it was a Bank holiday weekend? I might give the shops in town a ring to see if they have any, then give T-Mobile a call and threaten to cancel the order if they cant sort something out....watch this space!

I told them I could get it in one of their shops, they said I should do that if I could then. Don't think they'll give you any discount to stay with them.

Annoying thing now is I created an login for their site when I signed up online but now that's not valid, just says "your order has been cancelled" - want that switching over to my new account. Bet they can't...

Upgrades first, then when they said £100 or no dice, I asked to be put through to retentions.

Just had a look at my T-Mobile account online, those ******s at MPD have pre-activated the sim as a number is showing up that I do not recognise.

Sent them off an email clearly stating that I want a full refund of all money including postage as my original email dated 1st April to cancel had been read and ignored.

If any charges from t-mobile arise I shall come down on them like a tonne of bricks! As I just happen to work for citizens advice.

Camalot I may be mistaken but did you previously have an Omnia and post a lot in the Omnia thread?

I gave up on my Omnia a while back, it was too slow and the touch screen was always off. Would be interested to hear your opinion on the difference the Desire makes!

Yeah there is it will cost you £550 in total that's not a great deal at all

Yes that was me. The difference is night and day mate, this desire is amazing compared to the omnia.

MPD will give you 600 mins and 1GB but the trade off is 500 texts.

Depends if you need unlimited texts as to whether or not it's a good deal or not.
