What film did you watch last night?

Watched quite a few films in the past couple of days, some of which are....

Iron Man - love this film, it got just about everything right in my opinion, making number 2 even more desirable.

Kick Ass - Was kinda funny, but not really laugh out loud funny, more chuckle to yourself funny.

The Backup plan - Absolutely dire in every way, except that Jennifer Lopez looked lovely.

A few women in my work went to see it at the cinema, One of them got so excited by the sex scene that she went straight home and got her hubby to play it out lol. She then told the others about it and they tried it out! Oh the bloody conversations I hear working with women lol. :)

End of the Line. Brainless little horror flick that doesn't really know what it wants to be. The director either had too many ideas or not enough. Either way, it was a dunger.

Asian chick was cute, though.
 
Death Proof.

Watched it for the first time. Wasn't exactly what I expected it to be. Lots of talking and I thought there was going to be much more carnage but there was only two bits with crashing. Still enjoyed it though.
 
Shutter Island

Disappointing to be honest, with the Scorsese, DiCaprio combo again I was hoping for something pretty damn decent. Just, the film didn't appeal at all and it felt awfully long (130 mins?).

It had its good moments and I'm not saying its terrible, but I expected more. Meh.

It was pretty good having not seen it before, the James Bond bloke was good in it and I didn't see the ending coming :)
 
Salvage (the 2009 British horror film).

Started well. Lost its way after the first 25 minutes and became steadily worse from that point. Plot was utterly predictable and full of holes. At the 40 minute mark you're in a perfect position to guess the rest of the movie - and you will. They should have called it "We Failed to Salvage This Film from Cliché City."

I implore you to go watch this film right now, its somewhat quirky in a brilliant way. Fantastic directing, script and cast makes for an enjoyable and somewhat quality experience that I haven't gotten from any movie in a while.

Top stuff, funny, clever, almost pefect.
