What film did you watch last night?

How To Train Your Dragon

Awesome! Best kids CGI I have seen in years, thoroughly enjoyable and the best use of 3D I have seen bar Avatar.

9/10 :D

Legion - really enjoyed it. ALthough the Mrs was a pain saying it is all wrong and not the Bible/God/Angles/she has come to know!

STFU bitch and watch the movie! :(

I thought Legion had some nice visuals, but the script was atrocious.

You're right about just watching the movie though, it's definitely not one to be taken seriously.

Enjoy it for what it is. :)

Fear and loathing in las vegas - One of my all time favourate films, once watches by a group of people in a spangled mess 3 times in one night it was so good. :D

Che Part One, and it was very good. A bit of a slow burner but it gets very engrossing as it progresses. One of the best looking blurays I've seen as well, looking forward to watching Part Two.

Avatar.

Blue Ray, at a friends house where he has a quite amazing set up. The surround sound, massive telly.

It looks amazing, stunning, in fact words struggle to express how good it looked.

Still think it lacks a lot, a decent story and some better acting would be a good extra feature for the "extended" edition.

Episodes 1,2,3 and 4 of the new Dr Who

I got the Heroes of Telemark to watch tonight but didnt quite get round to it.

On order I have:

The Train (another WW2 film)
The Bedford Incident (recommended on Overclockers)

re Sherlock holmes: I love the ones where Sherlock is investigating the jack the ripper murders (From hell, Murder by decree)

Trick R' Treat

Quick a few nice plot twists. A decent watch if you can withstand a few tedious aspects of the horror genre.

The Joneses.

Nothing much wrong with it, enjoyed it, reminded me of an 80's movie.. couldn't get Ed Begley, Jr out of my head everytime neighbour Gary Cole was on screen.

Solid cast though, quirky idea that plays well.

Slighty too long though, does start to drag a bit half way through the film, they recycle what their doing a couple of times too many.

Freedom Writers with Hilary S.w.a.n.k- Not a bad "feel good" movie, based on the deprived gang areas/school in America. 6.5/10

Kick-Ass - Thought this was a brilliant film, comedy mixed with action mixed with superhero comics mixed with assasins, loved Mclovin, mindys and cages parts in this. Awsome film, looks like there will be another one aswel. - 9/10
