*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

I'm waiting on my envelope but according to the FAQ you only need to send the phone. They don't require boxes or accessories.

Yeah I did see that but I thought with the iPhone it would be different as they are giving so much cash for it

But ok thanks (and thanks Peve)

http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/0,39029453,49305912,00.htm for the vodafone (leaked) prices

Based on what they have sold me before, the price of the handset is the same for 18 and 24, you just pay £5 more per month

For all other iphones in the past Apple have made sure that all carriers are selling the handset at the same price.

The only thing that has ever differed between carriers is the amount of free minutes, texts and data you get.

The Price of the handset and the monthly cost has remained steady across the networks because apple fix the price and they take revenue from the monthly payment.

I cannot see why they would change this now for the new phone. So i am assuming the prices published by Orange will be the same across all carriers and the only thing that will differ will be the bundled mins texts and data.

Only my assumption mind !

I agree O2s plans are shocking unless they announce the phone at a better price.

Im looking at 18months contract i want to pay £35 a month and i want the 32gb iphone.

O2 are offering half the included mins orange are at present on the £35 a month 18 month contract there 24 month contract looks ok but i dont want to buy in for that long.

I might switch to orange.

It all depends on if you need the minutes or the texts. Ive been with orange for years but i never used my 600mins per month whereas i would use over 500 texts so on that basis im swapping over to the o2 plan which have unlimited texts.

Wasnt Tesco's handset cost different as well as the subs ?

So whats peoples experiences of arriving early on launch day of a much anticipated Apple product?
Lets face it the hype around this thing has gotten ridiculous. If the web traffic is reflective of what the queues are going to be like, I'm going armed to the teeth.
Kind of after some intel on what time would be advisable to get there to be near the front of the queues.

Not really - at this point in time Apple website is advertsing the Orange version of a 3GS at £10 less than the O2 version for PAYG so there is a little difference...

ps3ud0

im not talking about payg phones.

we shall see anyway when all the carriers release there pricing.

Anything atm is pure speculation.

Even though I got one 'reserved' and been told by an Apple employee that 'reserved' means exactly that. The hype created around this thing still leaves that irrational fear of not having one.

Next purchase.
Apple Shares.
