It's a sad day when something god aweful like Dancing with the stars gets 19million viewers and decent sci-fi gets less than 1mill

They were saying on the Gateworld podcast that it would be interesting to know how many people in the US downloaded SGU via iTunes but figured that it would be a bad idea for MGM to release that information as knowing an HD ep costs $2.99 or whatever it would give away their earnings for that revenue stream.
Have SyFy said what the plan is regarding how long the break will be? Hopefully not another lengthy one like Season 1 had :/
Man this here is the very problem of SGU
If i didn't know better you are describing an episode of EastEnders or Coronation street, Not a franchise that has consistently produced good watch-able 1h slots of fun action comical sci fi for years and years.
i don't know why BSG was so popular, personally. I found it bloody drawn out and boring only a few episodes and sub plots were really good.
Now its been emulated in the SGU and it just doesn't work its boring as hell.
I moan every bloody episode lol, ill moan when its pulled off too.![]()
there was no progression though at all, it was paramount to Bobby Ewing in the shower tbh. With the exception of Chloe going partially silver and a "GET UP SOLDIER !!!!!!11" speech absolutely nothing what so ever happened.
Is it against the forum rules to start an SGU thread, where we can talk about the US episodes?
yes, been tried before for other series and have been locked.
Enjoyed taht episode, but why can;t scifi move away from 1 episode, 1 problem star trek mantra.
And more like other series. Where the story line just progresses through every episode
As i remember Star Trek had several double episodes in a series, and more than one problem in an episode. Of course, ignoring for a second the fact that the plot for SGU was largely ripped off from Voyager i did only watch Star Trek from TNG onwards.
