January Transfer Window 2010/2011 Season Rumours/Signings

While I think Carroll could turn out to be a very good player, I really hope this transfer fee isn't clear cut. Either a large chunk is based on future performances or it's been agreed to let it be known he cost £35m to keep the toon happy.

or Toon want it to look that big, particularly Ashley would want to, we haven't said **** all.

Seeing that Chelsea sign Fernando Torres, sickening.

He's forgotten what fans look like?

i can honestly say and im sure many football fans will say the same thing, i dont understand why any player would want to play for wigan, sole less club no fans and no history

LOL

Small town club, young club, league club only since 78, come back in say 100 years and we can dicuss history. :D

Formed in 1932 in a rugby town, youngest team in EPL compared with you the oldest, League cup? that it?

Wow weebull is on fire tonight, would love that heritage to live and be from Manchester but you cant choose where you are born and bred.

My summery of the clubs who have done the biggest business;

Chelsea - by far should be the happiest of all the clubs, signed the best striker in the world and got a expensive defender where they we lacking also

Aston Villa - kept hold of all their players and got a proven goal scorer in Bent

Liverpool - lost the best striker in the world, got Andy Carroll as a replacement. Suraz who knows...

Newcastle - potentially screwed for the rest of the season, as if sacking their manager didn't set them back as it was

Man City - must be kicking themselves that they ruled themselves out of getting the best striker in the world because they blew their load too early - still a small time club

Will there be clause that forbidds torres from playing agaisnt pool on sunday?

Nothing official can be agreed but it's possible that an unofficial agreement may have been made.

Also, there's still no official confirmation from either Liverpool or Chelsea that the Torres deal is complete.

Is it just me or does H'arry like to stick his nose in on a transfer deadline wether or not he needs a player?

To add Adam to his already well managed midfield: Modric, Kranjcar, Pienaar, Huddlestone, Jenas, Palacios, Sandro and VDV?

God, I hate that cash-accepting-rubberfaced-pleb.

Certainly been an exciting evening between Liverpool/Chelsea and who ever said it above has it spot on, SSN couldn't confirm if it was night or day if their lives depended on it. :p

Best striker in the world? what planet are you on?? I'd rather have Bent upfront than that tit.
