So we're kicking ourselves? Maybe if we'd held off on signing Dzeko in the hope of Torres and then ended up with neither of them, but we didn't. Still got a great striker, half the price.

Fact is, Harry whored himself out to every striker in the western world and they all said no. Shameful.
Name me a striker that has won the WC and scored in the European Championship, he is world class, best player in the world to score from inside the box, on the turn, near the half way line from a run. That is the true sign of class.
Shame Liverpool are so low in the league and devalued, would you stay at your job knowing you could earn more, go to a business that has more money and better prospects?

Who said it was another failed City transfer window? There's absolutely no doubt you've been over shadowed in this window regardless of what you want to delude yourself into thinking
i'm not saying redknapp didn't look a bit desperate but we need a striker. i'd reserve your 'shameful' comments til the end of the season if i were you.

It's irrelevant what he has done and did do. Yes he won the WC, don't recall him featuring that heavily in winning it on the field though.
The fact is he has been badly off form this season, although I can see that all changing now.

So you had £50m in your pockets, still wouldn't have made me buy Carroll for £35m plus whatever additional payments you've agreed.
Harry may have bid for every striker in the western world he may not have. Spurs only actually confirmed officially that they offered for Forlan. Media, its such a pain for winding people up.
