As a DCC 3D guy this gave me the horn. Just the transparency supersampling is a massive jump in itself. Awesome, awesome work by the devs! At least one thing's for sure - the engine is going to kick some serious butt. Hope the gameplay matched up to it.

I'm getting very excited about this game now, and that's coming from someone that has almost totally gone off most PC gaming.

Yeh this is the trouble :/ I reckon it will hit at £35... most of the A1 titles coming out in recent years have been at this price point, on Steam anyway. I really like Steam. I CBA with having to shift loads of game boxes around with me every time I move house. But we do pay a premium for that service it seems. Could be wrong though... maybe DICE will be NICE to us ehem...

If BF3 is as good as it looks, then I won't mind paying £35 for the game, especially considering I'm going to have to build a new £1,000 pc for it hahaha.

Pff I'd still buy any Battlefield title at £50+, they give hundreds if not thousands of hours of high quality, eyefinity, explosive, 'can I use that as a ramp?', 'check my nose grind because my plane controls are inverted', 'my squad leader got revived just as I spawned about a mile away', 'woohoo one hit kill on tank with SRAW', 'feeble attempt throwing grenade at a tank', 'we are mountain goat squad'

Because pre-order price should apply to everyone, and should be the same wherever you buy it (online) IMO.

BF3 is gonna be the new Crisis I just know it, so I'm Holding off buying a card until prices drop low enough.
