Did some testing in heaven 2.5 @ 1920x1200 default settings.
Default CCC settings also

What you will see on line two, is when you have a registry lock on your cards. What i mean is by that is you need to disable ULPS power saving modes in registry to allow something like AB to oc both of your cards above 840/1325Mhz without BSOD for you :D

by adding +20 on your powerprofle in CCC i gained .1 fps in max fps area, nothing else. Prollt help stabilise if you push above 880/1325.

p9026 with a gfx score of 9324

ai you can, but you may be locked at 840max and 1325max with ati override as I was for awhile.
I only saw 3 fps difference between stock 6950 speeds and ati OD at 840/1325.
6 fps more than stock at 6970 clock speeds.

quickly going to ask again, do you think a OCZ 700w psu paired with 2 6950's and a overclocked i5 be able to handle the graphics cards flashed to 6970s?

as you are not touching voltages with a shader unlock, as long as your PSU is rated for xfire 6950 cards all good boss.

As for drivers, not sure, I am running the latest cata drivers with no issues (now) :D

cheers mate, its the ocz 700w stealthxstream, which from reviews seems to be able to handle an extra 100w ontop of that anyway! ocuk wouldnt put it in their prebuilt if it couldnt handle crossfire i guess :)
