****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

So I'm in the process of customising my lock screen using WidgetLocker. I can't seem to figure out how to remove the 4 default sliders you get at the bottom of the screen (sound, camera, brightness, etc)?:confused:

edit: Nevermind, figured it out by editing the MainGrid. That wasn't very intuitive!

Go into the edit mode (in notification menu), then long press on the slider and you should be able to drag it into the bin.
 
Anyone using screen protectors with this?

My mate gave me one tonight but it was crap...Bubble city

Anyone got a link to some decent quality screen protectors?

Sorry if its not obvious enough but i wanted to know what orange has changed 'A bunch off stuff (at a guess)' doesnt tell me much :p

a shed load of other junk that could be from samsung or orange.

there is also a boot up screen from orange.

Thanks Snax :) there must be a lot more changes under the hood if its causing the phone to lag as i doubt most of that stuff runs in the background. i dont know why the bother putting orange maps on there, its trash. app shop as well, does that mean you know have market, samsung app store AND the app shop? lol im glad i went to p4u and didnt wait for orange:p

Does anyone have a issue with web scrolling where when you move around quickly the uncovered web page is like ina white and grey checkered pattern like its not cached. Or the memory is running slow, as this doesn't happen on my lowly San Fran.

yes it's a little annoying. Think it's just the device unable to redraw the screen that quick
 
Can anyone explain to me how to display your number on this phone?

When I go into Settings-About Phone - Status it state beside My Phone Number 'Unknown'. I rang O2 this morning about a couple of things and they told me just to add it manually but I can't see how to do this.
