Ok this maybe a totally noob question but I keep seeing people say to make a nandroid backup but am not sure how to go about this? I have a rooted phone with KE7, did it by using ODIN if that makes a difference.

1) I believe most current roms are based on the Samsung software so will have it, future roms based on AOSP android might/probably won't, not sure as I'm still on the stock KE7 + CF rooted kernel

2) Not sure, I believe Google has an Outlook to Google-world sync tool that might do the job as the google account will sync properly to the phone, again never used Outlook so can't help massively but seeing as no-one else had answered :p

Can you try your browser and google search flash test and go to adobes test page and see if it works or if not? That would be cool so i cansee if its me or the phone?

I dont get the flash video playing either.

However if I click the link below it tells me flash was successfully installed...

It does it sometimes on here like when I'm trying to type in the edit box (which doesn't work properly in landscape mode), things like that.

You two above, make sure you've got Flash installed from the Android Market.
 
GF has a problem with her S2.

Hi Guys,

I have had my S2 since Thursday and since this morning I haven't been able to log into Facebook and also, on Windows live messenger in the Social Hub none of the contacts are coming up and i cant view who is online.

I have been advised to re-install the applications, I have done so but I am still experiencing the same problems.

Has anybody else experienced the same problems and if so how have they over come them.

Please advise.

backup
games
homescreen selector (there are two themes you have to choose from, one being orange)
maps
orange wednesdays
your orange
orange plus

a shed load of other junk that could be from samsung or orange.

there is also a boot up screen from orange.

can you not just follow the guide and flash a stock rom? that's what i did, then using tritium backup i removed all the samsung crap.
 
Oh- the test page takes you to a test shockwave test, not a test flash test. i think this is hte problem

I've been through a lot and they all have faults. Got frustrated and stuck with the stock browser for now. Let me know if you find a decent one. Boat browser looked good but it's been removed from the market last I checked
