****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II ACCESSORIES Thread***

Street the bad points of the martin sp seems due to the application. Would you say if it had gone on right first time then you wouldn't have had any problems.

I'm looking to get ascreen protector that's crystal clear and can hardly tell its on there.

I would say my biggest issue was the application, yes. The picture clarity is stunning, very nearly as good as the screen without the protector. The lens protector for the camera is an excellent addition and has brought peace of mind. The 'feel' is also almost as good as the original screen, my finger glides over it easily.

However one other warning, something that doesn't bother me but seems to bother others a lot, is the fact that it picks up grease faster than a bare screen does. A quick wipe usually sorts it out, but it is noticable very quickly.

I'd be interested to see my one and a Martin Fields side by side... I doubt there's too much difference if any.

Bought a cheapo £3.89 Screen protector and gell back case job from amazonian rainforest and for the money (free shoiipping too) its pretty good. Plus i ordered it yesterday and it showed up at my front door today:)

What do we think is the best protector, apart from Martins Field? Never applied one before and I notice cheaper ones are usually 1-3 in the pack, whereas the Martins one is £15 for just 1 and I am bound to mess up the application.

My little mini review:

Case looks and feels great in the hand, feels very slim. Good quality leather and love the leather smell! Stitching all correct and present.

BUT... it's tight, a nice tight fit which will eventually wear down so phone glides in and out smoothly. To get the phone out you have to push it from below, I've noticed that sometimes the buttons when sliding in do press against the internal, again due to tightness which hopefully will wear away soon.

I like it, took 18 days to come from USA as I didn't ship it straight from Sena (heard I might get FedEx charging me VAT and such) so I ordered it to a mail forwarding company and got it sent out with the cheapest air mail option.

This will only fit the phone, tried putting my phone in with the Nillkikn case but refused to go due to the extra mm's it adds.

Overall a nice case, will be good for me when I know I'll be on my feet all day in my pocket and will provide decent body protection, phone fits both ways perfectly whether it be headphone jack up or charger side up.

I submit in counter-argument the Case Rhyme:

Your case may be made out of unicorn hide
And smell of new car seats or honey
If I can't charge my handset while it's inside
I'll be damned if you're getting my money.

Just to make sure you're aware, you'll have to pay £20~ in import tax on that Sena case (approx. 2-3 weeks after you've got it).

I can't imagine anything less functional than what you are describing in that case.

e-cell protectors, Post #3. They work a treat, very satisfied with them, and you get 6 in a pack. :)

e-cell ones are ass! I used 5 before rage quitting and ripping up the 6th.

1: Too many air bubbles
2: Too flimsy

!!

Weird how mine (on first application) had no air bubbles, and feels perfectly fine to the touch. WHat does "too flimsy" mean anyway... they are supposed to be thin and discreet. :p
