Terraria - Dig, fight, explore, build

That won't be up to me and it's unlikely to be honest (going from experiences with Minecraft admin).

I'm in the server now using the tmod checking tools. As I don't know where anything is though I'm not sure where all the damage is. Can anotehr player come to the server to show me?
 
I'm online most of the time if you want some help. I find people prefer to have somebody to help them get started with the game for a little while. I'll try hosting my own server if you want to play it just the two of us. Add me to Steam if you are interested. :)
 
Sadly tmod's logging is pretty useless.

In future if people can record the exact time periods that damage happened in (e.g. logged off at 10/07/2011 02:00 with no damage, logged in 10/07/2011 12:36 damage found) it might make it easier to track down who are the most likely culprits.

A few names popped up and I'll be keeping an eye on those people but unfortunately there's nothing conclusive yet.
 
Well we have some details, by next patch and new server if it happens again it will point them out by who destroyed another person's block. If for example i build a building and you come in and wreck it, i'll tell us who was the last few members who edited that building.

Collect 20 or so obsidian blocks (let water mix with lava to form obsidian and mine it) and then go to a work bench and you can make an obsidian skull, which is wearable and stops lava 1 shotting you. However it still does like 80 odd damage per second if you touch it :P

ive done a lot of repairs now on the underground city, got rid of all the lava, replaced some doors, and sorted out the flooring, the hell room needs 1 spike replacing and filling up with lava, just need to repair the bank and the original base right of the bank.
 
Can't go any further than this without being done by demons and bats. :p

how are the logs formatted?
 
you need to read the first page..

little update, most repeairs have been done, just need to fill some lava up and replace furniture, other than that it all looks good again.

Can we try and stick to atleast one player name instead of lots?, Dane that includes you :p

Would make it easier to pick out the greefers aswell
 
Can the server admin not just save the game files so we can revert if need be?

I just put my world on a memory stick and can move it from one pc to another.
