The Apple HE store - Full prices and details in here. *prices correct as of 15/06/10*

Just signed up to start an OU degree today, how do I go about sorting the discount?

If I understand correctly I can do it over the phone, is there no option to access it somewhere online?

Anybody able to email me the direct link? I don't get back to uni till the 26th and I get my student loan in on the 19th (monday) and I can't wait the extra week :p

I thought you only get your loan once you have registered at university? So they know you are going to be attending and not pulling a fast one?

If anything, ring them up.

Tell them you have a student email for that uni, and go from there.

(i think thats how you do it :p)

My loan comes in after the 26th, so i can't get my macbook until the after the 1st of October :(

We do all our registration online at Bath, I did mine a week ago so we get our loans on the 19th.

Tbh I'm just being impatient and want to have a look at speccing it up and seeing how it would affect the discount :p

I wonder if that works.. will be better then using my FE discount when ordering my MBP when the money from MBA goes back into my account :)

Possibly will work then (for me atleast), the link is from the NUS extra website as I bought a card.

Just bought my MBP and speck case using the link from the NUS site, had to agree that I am eligible for the discount being a student etc. Can't see them finding out I'm not a uni student though :)

Unsure whether to actually go for an 11inch MBA or a 13inch one. Keep reading the specs and thinking that the entry level MBA is possibly slow due to having 2gb of RAM yet all I want it for is web browsing, uni work and a few chemistry/biology programs lol. The 13inch model is only on the cards because it has an SD card slot, which is pretty damn useful, yet my PC doesn't and I just use a USB cable to transfer pictures from my DSLR anyway so I'm probably REALLY overthinking it.

For my set of uses, reckon I should just stick to the 128gb SSD 11inch MBA version instead? 64gb isn't much, especially when playing with photos, as I found out on the pc I'm currently typing this on lol.

Plus can someone bring me up the prices of the 11 and 13 inch MBA's please as I can't be ****** to walk 5 mins to the uni to then wait an hour for a computer in the library lol.

I'm using a first generation MBA now and to be honest it's fine for that, so the new ones would be awesome! I suggest go to an Apple store and try out both, personally I'd want the 11" one if that was out when I ordered :)

As I'm nice:
