No it won't. I see no fps difference using a wider FOV.

A higher FOV affects framerate as you render more, its the reasons consoles tend to use low FOV.

I certainly do. On initial launch I was getting 80fps at FOV 70, changed it to 90 and it dropped to 55fps. Can someone else try this please, I may have a problem with my setup

It depends how much stressed your pc is etc.

If your pc is stressed playing at 70 fov, increasing the fov to 90 etc, could have an impact on fps. I would say.

What the hell is up with spawns? I get the impression the game chooses you to spawn next to an enemy if there is one? SO many times ive spawned and been insta killed by someone.

Had an amazing game on Damavand Peak last night, we where outside the tunnel after reaching the second position and just before i ran into the tunnel a little bird with two guys on each side comes swooping into the tunnel miniguns blazing, the two guys jump off and arm the site, the little bird gets hit with a rocket, load of enimes come pouring towards us, explosions, smoke, bullets.

The sound and visuals off it where similar to a blockbuster hollywood movie, just incredible.

Obviously if the FOV is wider then there's more information to be processed. You can't just say that since the number of pixels hasn't changed then neither will the performance.

So now that the game is out...

Does it perform negligibly better than the beta? Will those of us with older series graphics cards perhaps have acceptable performance?
