I got mine from Direct2play bit cheaper too and all fine and dandy, you'll have to download the English files aswell of course and I will say that when I bought BO's on a Rusky Steam key, Steam kept on reverting the game files to Russian which I had to patch with the English ones quite a few times.
I'm really struggling to play this on my laptop, it plays MW2 flawlessly, just not MW3?

It's almost like it's trying to play it on the discreet chip rather than the GPU. I know it's a 525 but is should still be able to play it fine.
Anyone?
If quick scoping is still in use, don't think I'll play it much tbh.
I asked this earlier, apparently QSing is easier than before and more common because of that reason.

I'm sorry to sound like a ****... but this is by far the most stupidest thing i've ever read on PC forums.... Why would you want "classic MW2 maps".... first off there is nothing classic about MW2. 2nd if they put MW2 maps in then the game would be Mw2!!

Anyone any hassle with Russian cd keys ? I've sourced some for £18 so just wanted to check first 
The weapons doing less damage is a good thing, and big maps basically means less of a cluster ****, and as Goon mentioned, using maps from CoD:MW2 would make this game CoD:MW2.
I would say if you want the game for MP, wait for it to be reduced in price, same as if you primarily want it for SP, if you want both, then buy it now really depending on your budget.

The MW2 map packs include some classic COD4 maps, except with a graphics upgrade facelift, and they are some of the most popular maps in MW2.
They probably mean the single player.
It is true that there is no point writing a guide to get good performance from MW3 when it is such an undemanding engine.
This, i'm getting 60fps constant on my 5870 with V-Sync on, it's not demanding at all.
I finally got round to playing this for a few mins before i had to go to work.
Have to say i am very disappointed, i think it's a step back from black ops.
Coupled with the fact there was a cheater on the server
I will have a full play around with this later to be sure it sucks ass. Glad i only paid £19 for this!

Anyone else finding the default key configuration ridiculously fiddlely? Can anyone recommend any decent changes?

(Well I make a couple of minor changes, middle mouse for melee and I prefer E for use) - oh also I use F for flashbangs etc. Only you can answer that I would say! Change it to what you are happy with?

the one thing i am hating is the blasted 4 keys it takes to have all your killstreak rewards, i use a belking speed pad and have limited buttonige as is, should really have a option to combine to one key like it used to be.
Other than that im liking it a lot, found it hard to settle in to it at first and spotting enemy was a struggle but im getting back into the twitchy play needed for a cod game to compensate for the shocking FOV, really wish they would patch that out but i know there is zero chance of this.
Maps seem varied and you are pretty much forced to play through all game modes to get a good spread of the rotation, really wish they had worked in a server system like cod, hate being connected to a 75+ ping server on my 50MB connection.

You will need to join a russian / ukraine VPN server to activate the game, then when its downloaded you will need a 5GB download for the english language files.
direct2play have it on their main page!
