All of it. It's typical storage though, 4GB is actually like 3.7, 32GB is actually 29GB. How this hasn't been forced to change I don't know.

The Welcome park is your best bet. It could just be a case of rebooting the Vita. Occasionally I;ve seen people have similar issues. With it still being early firmware there are going to be niggle like that until they work them all out.

Yep. Remember folks, it you encounter anything odd like that DO NOT PANIC. Holding the power button down will bring up the menu to do a reset. As I said in the quote above, its early firmware.

Completely different game. They started development on it at around the same time as development started on Uncharted 2. It's less focused on massive set pieces and more on everything else.

I've downloaded the patches for Uncharted, Lumines and Wipeout now so that's all done. It was actually faster for me to download the Fifa demo by tethering to my phone than it was over my home WiFi. Fortunately I have a large data plan that I never use as it was a rather large file!

To get an update for a game, go to the live area, hit refresh and click on the yellow ball with an arrow in it at the top of the screen. They all just get added to the download queue so you can download several at once without having to stop everything else like the PS3!

If the game is on a cart I THINK the cart needs to be in to install the update, it does NOT need to be in to download it.

Now I'm going to hunt around the background websites to find a nice unlock screen and some pretty page backgrounds to spruce things up.

PSN is so slow for me, its taking about 1hr and 30mins just to download 800mb on my 10mb connection. PSN must be hitting high traffic with so many Vita's being activated etc. Will have to try getting demos tomorrow.
 
This is prob going to sound the most stupid question ever... I turned my Vita off and put it on charge, I've taken it off charge and can't turn it back on. The blue playstation light keeps flashing and I've pressed power and the blue PS Vita button but nothing is turning it on :(

Hold the power button down for about 20 seconds. if it still does nothing then plug the power back in and try again. If still not working wait 30 minutes and try again.

Yep, got about 9 people within 9KM of me. It didn't want to connect 5 or 6 hours ago though. No idea why.

Are you using 3G or are you on a WiFi unit?

Just got my £5 off voucher for SSD... but it's not for a fiver... offering me SSD for £2.39... should be £1.49 right?


Plus isn't working at all on the version with DLC, which is a shame.

The card came to £70 after charges and whatnot, and being offered around £6 back to keep it....but can't really justify spending that much on a card atm.....

You could just keep it and sell it. Someone will have it off you on the MM for the price you paid + postage.

I've just gotten two gifts from Near, a Hustle Kings avatar and a box of track parts for Modnation. They expire in 10 and 14 days time though so if I want to use them I have to buy the games before that date. Interesting bit of nudging to get people to buy more games there.

Ah that might explain it. To get your positional data on a WiFi connection it has to look at the SkyHook database to see where you are. If your WiFi isn't registered with SkyHook then it doesn't know where you are.

If you use any WiFi access points owned by telecoms providers (BT/Vodafone etc) then they are already on that DB so it'll work if you are out and about using it if you can get a connection.

That's another nice thing about the 3G unit. Even if i never buy any credit, my GPS will still have a look every once in a while to work out where I am. When I then hook up to a WiFi point somewhere it then uploads the days data and syncs it all.

To get the Wipeout code? maybe an hour. I was getting distracted by shiney things so I forget lol
