AVB leaves Chelsea (sacked)

Moyes plays ugly, negative football though, Abramovich wants silky sexy football. Looks like we're stuck with the ginger ****! :D

 Moyes gets Everton to play decent passing football, if you want ugly watch Hull, Stoke or any side Sam Allardyce is managing.

On to Abramovich, ruined the club, before him, top 4 was a luxury, since Abramovich, champs league football, few league titles, bunch of other titles.... yeah, ruined, I'm sure every fan would take being 80mil in debt, in administration and potentially in Rangers/Pompie's situation rather than angry over losing 4th. As for too many managers saying it all... Arsenal 1 manager for how long, Chelsea several managers of which a bunch of them have won something, so really says nothing at all.

AVB was not doing well, had no experience in a top league and mostly showed an entire lack of any real quality in his time at Chelsea, with a side of nutcase to go with it.

Firing great managers isn't a great move, hanging on to crap ones who haven't worked out is even worse.

So why did he hire him and pay £15 million to Porto to get him

You dont suddenly sack someone you WANTED to manage your club, Chelsea are a joke, the players are a joke and far to powerful, Abramovich is a joke CFC its just his play thing. Its like when has to have the biggest yacht in world by 2 meters, he is absolutely bonkers.

Martin O'Neill is the perfect man for the job.

Likes to spend money - check
Can motivate average players into decent players (Malouda, Kalou, Luiz, etc) - check
Can motivate under performing players into monsters (Torres and Drogba) - check
Has achieved great successes at previous clubs (Celtic) - check
Has the experience and backbone to deal with the pressure and owner - check

I hope what ever manager they get fails too as Abramovich is the one ruining Chelsea more than any one, He never gives any managers a good run, Ancelotti was doing fine there but he fired him too.

Abramovich is a joke for that club, If Rafa does end up there its probably only way Torres will go to his former self since he himself said Rafa was his best ever coach (NOTE: I think thats stupid statement Torres should do well with out him being there)

Yes AVB wasnt doing great but i still think in the long run he would have done okay.

And there was me thinking he left Villa after falling out with the owner...

I do, for a new challenge. He only signs one year deals at Barca.

i think that is because he loves Barca, doesn't want them to have to give him a big payout if he was ever fired, etc. Or because he can simply walk away when the pressure gets too much for him.

it's got nothing to do with the whether he want's to leave or not.

i don't really see Guardiola managing many club's after Barca in the future, maybe national side's.

Pep has put off signing a new contract so far this year, so you never know

No, I'm pretty sure it is because he has interest in managing other clubs and wants to keep his options open.

I definitely think we will see Guardiola in England pretty soon. Chelsea or United. Maybe City.
