All disc images come with the original release image, they do not update the disk image ever through the years of production. The only time they do this, is when they release a 'anniversary' or one of those special additions with all the DLC.

Oh right yeah. Didn't catch the 'you can't get patches' part.
 
Just been running around picking up the Dragon Masks today, got 5 so far, annoyed that I can't get the last ones until a certain bit in the Main Questline apparently :(
 
i just got the update and i quick traveled to faldars tooth (which still jams my xbox when i try to go inside) to get a book for the orc libary guy at winterhold college, anyway when i arrived i had esbern appear out of no where and fight along side me wtf???


ok seriously wtf!?!?! ive done the main quest, and everytime i fast travel esbern appears from no where!!?!? what an update haha

We've seen reports of users having issues with the game freezing up when entering water. If you're having this issue, head to the PlayStation XMB menu. From there go to Game>Game Data Utility. Delete the game data and title updates for Skyrim.

Note: Game Data is not the same as your game saves. As long as you're not deleting anything from the game saves folder, you'll still have your saves.

Once you restart Skyrim, you'll need to wait for the 1.5 title update to reinstall, as well as the mandatory game data install.

Gutted. Infact not gutted. ****ed off! I'm level 42 and the game has become unplayable now. Anything between 30 seconds and 2 minutes to load a location. Running around the world map stops every now and again, to load a new piece of the map I'm guessing. Audio on any character takes about 10 seconds to start. And anything I conjure the spell casts and about 15 seconds later the item appears in my hand, or the familiar appears. Its unplayable. =(
 
So I bought this again after deciding I really wanted to finish the story, my character is level 44 and the game is clearly broken. Cleared my cache data and it still runs like a dog after about 10 minutes play time. Crashes when you touch a bit of water and now takes absolutely forever to load when entering buildings or whatever. Such a chore to play so i think im just gonna trade it back in again. Its not like Bethesda are known for their stellar game fixing service either so it will most likely remain this way...
