Before accusing me of being retarded about language you may want to consider that language is my job. :)

Also it was not to be taken seriously or as some sort of act of supremacy, however it has become apparent that you were not exactly being humorous yourself so I would be careful when attacking others when you are guilty of being just as superior in your attitude....2 Degrees etc.......

So be cool, take things with a little more humour and lay off the juju juice when posting.....it never ends well. :)
 
tbh English useage on the internet doesn't really bother me - the only ones that really bother me is using no instead of know or lower case i for I heh.

Personally I have very little idea of proper use/form anyhow and too old to learn really - I've picked it up as I went along without proper formal tutoring due to the Conservatives messing with the curriculum when I was at school I (and most of the people in my year at the same school) managed to miss 3 years of the basics and later on teachers weren't interested in going over the basics for the benefit of half the class.
 
Not read the thread but this must be a joke. You don't tell people how to spell on other forums so why do it here?

I don't see why someone would get annoyed when someone else makes a spelling mistake. It does not cause you any harm and if the poster is not worried about it then why should you be?

If you see someone spit on the pavement, does it annoy you?
If you see someone dropping litter, does it annoy you?

If so, why? It does you no harm and presumably doesn't bother them.

Dropping litter and spitting in the street is not the same as making a spelling mistake.

Nice try but if someone makes a spelling mistake on a forum then it does not bother me at all. Why should it?

This is an international forum and not everyone has English as their first language so getting your pants in a twist over a spelling mistake is sad in my eyes.
