Ahhhh, finally done enough to grind all my gear and armour to +5. The Abyss sword is awesome once you have enough humanity to spare and you get used to the move set. I've also started using the Dragonslayer bow for the first time, can't believe I never gave it chance before, it makes PvE a joke and makes invaders think twice when you send giant arrows flying at them!
 
Even though the game can be incredibly frustrating at times its the only game in years that keeps drawing me back, i finished off 2 more bosses last night, and it was incredibly rewarding, yes you prob will die after a few encounters , but the games a learning process and all the more rewarding for it, terrific game:)
 
I have come to love my zweihander, wielded one handed. I know it's not the best sword because it's pretty slow, but I'm going to make it a lightning rod of death.

Just spent about 2 hours running around the forest and not a single invasion or death :o Also found that Witch below the butterfly boss and summoned her, two spellcasters made that fight rather anticlimactic

So guys, any point getting this on the PC? Are the textures better than the console version? I read somewhere it was a DIRECT port, no high res's, dodgy resolution.

If it's even remotely better than console for looks alone, then I will give the devs even more of my money :)

Regardless of me owning the limited edition on the 360 lol.

Anyone got a link to the various improvement mods for when I finally get it to work?
 
Did you install the 0.9 to the correct folder? as the files are slightly different, i believe they go to the DATA folder not the root unlike 0.8

Didn't crash here

ps uninstalled it so can't help as much :(

It was a vanilla install that was crashing. Nothing to do with the dsfix.

Just had a quick go and can't remember it being this hard XD Guess I need some practice.

Oh well, another plus is now I can play Arkham City properly.
