Has anyone bought the game from Greenmangaming?

I just did and got the code but everytime I try to enter it into Steam, it keeps giving me this code you entered is not valid.

Does it take a few minutes for the code to become "active" or something before I try to enter it?

I'd give it an hour then contact CS if there is still issues.

GMG are very trustworthy, either Steam aren't accepting the keys yet or there's a genuine mistake. You can find GMG on Facebook or use their support form, no need for worry at all as they're a good company.

Really? I thought it was unlocking at 8am tomorrow.

EDIT

Just logged into steam and it downloaded a patch. Game is still locked though.

My friend bought Aliens from GMG and it worked straight away. This was a few days ago.

After watching some vids and reading some reviews if i were you id chase him away with the sharp end of a coathanger so it'll not be delivered.

Unlocked early (aus vpn) and it isn't as bad as the Xbox 360 videos. The textures and graphics in general are pretty decent if a little low res. Gameplay isn't brilliant yet, lacks a bit of suspense but I'm only 20 mins in. Music etc is very true to the original film which is a nice touch.
There are a few video options, and a FOV option which I was hoping for. May be more in the config files too, quite a few .ini files scattered in the game directories.

If they can nail the atmosphere of the films, I won't be too critical of the gameplay. If I don't soil myself atleast once, the game has failed!

Game looks pretty fun multiplayer wise but I can see it getting pretty boring after a month or so. Just like the last AVP game.

Screenies, everything maxed including forced AA/AF/AO:

There are no AA options in the game other than a checkbox for FXAA, and there is a texture slider but I think that is texture res rather than AF, but (For nVidia users at least) forcing AA/AF/AO through control panel/nVidia inspector works.

Certainly looks better than a lot of the videos I've seen. Can you get some good pics of the aliens?
