Yup I'm guessing a November release in Jap/US and March 2014 in Europe.
The only thing that may change this is MS will probably try to get their's out worldwide in 2013 to get the advantage. Sony will have probably figured that out and will hopefully try to get it out sooner.

As much as I love getting shiny new hardware I can't see myself pre-ordering until we know what MS are up to. The next Xbox will be a 99% instant pre-order IMO so it's whether the PS4 is worth it 'on top' of the next Xbox for me.
I think Sony learnt their lesson from the $599/£425 launch and we'll definitely see a SKU under £300, even if it's 'basic'. The 360 launched at £219/£279 which was bloody brilliant. £300 is a big mental barrier and a 'traditional' price point (inflation proof, somehow!).

That seems rather backwards considering many recent JRPGs have actually came to Europe before the US

Sony alway had a big thing about "Why go First"
They said this again recently which to me can only mean (Seeing as they are clearly announcing first) that they dont intend on releasing first...
I have a feeling MS are going pre christmas
And these two launching withing a month of eachother just wont work for anyone.

It would have to be compressed quite significantly to fit 4K movies (with sound) onto a 128Gb Blu-ray. There's also no actual standard yet, so i doubt it.

It's the latest image of the controller from Kotaku.
The triggers look much better and the overall size seems a definite improvement, just hope they do something better with the sticks, not sure I like them on this image.

The lip seems sensible so its something for your thumb to hold onto - not the nicest to look at but doesnt really matter that much at the end of the day. Not sure theyve gone far enough with the triggers - hard to tell...
