Sometimes it's the camera, I have to micro adjust all my lenses on one mk3 and none on the other.

Well yeah, as long as you like the focal length. I'd also consider the Sigma 30mm f1.4 which is designed for a crop, I really liked mine when I had one. They are also bringing out an update to it as well, so could be even better. It will be cheaper than the 35 as well.

It must be a certain type of person that browses the Photography section the OCuK forums... I also have rather posh headphones and a headphone amp

Quality is important after all

I also quite fancy this 35mm 1.4 lens but as I already have stuff around that focal length, I'll probably get myself something longer than my 70-200mm first before I go there. At least the price will drop a bit more before I get around to it
