Apparently they're a lot tougher then iPhone 5, so hopefully it should chip less. But I don't think anyone had the device long enough to see if this is true :p.

Meanwhile, got an email from Amazon that the order has been pushed back to the 12th April (although dispatch date for me says 11th). Well, at least I have the HTC Media Link that came free with it as a preorder offer, and the flip case, both collecting dust...
 
Just got back from the Three store in Canterbury. They are not certain when they will get stock, but the guy I spoke to thought it would be 'early April'. I asked whether I could get it sooner if I ordered from Three's website to which he responded 'No' and that the stores will actually get the phones before the website.

On a different note, what's the best place to browse for accessories (in particular, a screen protector)?
 
Ok guys I couldn't take it any longer and called Three for my upgrade and gave in for their £34 per month contract.

He says they have the silver in stock and will try for delivery tomorrow otherwise will only get it after the easter weekend.

He also said (not sure how he got this statistic tbh) that only 4 in 100 people ask about the HTC One - it's mostly the IPhone and Samsung :(

Still looking for decent pouches

Edit: found this one which will do me - now just need a cheapy dock

Thing with reviews is that if you have a soft spot for a particular phone then you are always going to dismiss a review you consider to be even remotely negative. Although my only disappointment with the gsmarena review is that they conducted the "night" shots at dusk rather than when it is really dark :p

In my opinion you really can't go wrong this year, both the S4 and One are fantastic phones and I doubt anyone would regret purchasing one over the other.

My only issue with the One is that the camera really seems to let it down, the fact people are debating over it shows that it is not right. The camera should be so clearly good that people aren't having to discuss whether it is or isn't.
 
Yup noticed that too...

a bit like that other site that compared every condition with the gs 3, gs 4, one etc. except low light and night shots, only had the gs 4 VS gs 3 iirc

Phonarena are the only ones who have done every condition for all the top end phones so far:

although I don't agree with a few of their results either, panned the lumia 920 big time and favoured the iphone 5 a fair bit.

Indeed mate. I intentionally take my eos out to try and get some good shots, having a phone with a decent camera is a major plus for the random otherwise missed chances!
 
Here in paris HO has been pushed back twice. was end of March, now being told its end of April.

Can't even pre order one off my provider.

They might very well loads of Yanks are upset over all the confusion re s600 or Exynos And lack of any clearcut honest communication from Samsung leaving many in the US feeling they are 2nd class, if that had been HTC it would be being talked of as yet another HTC blunder.
 
Rang up three (really needed to know if I had to get someone to stay in the house or not) and they said its been dispatched from Ireland and I will get a text tomorrow with a 1hr timeslot :D

What deal/contract did you get with Three? Mine should hopefully arrive tomorrow from them

They said at the launch event Qualcomm is the SoC for US versions so don't really understand the confusion?
