But I'm sure their women like being allowed to drive and seek education in this country. I'm sure they are also quite happy to know that people that rape them will be punished too.

They want to have their cake and eat it.
 
This country is very soft. Human rights has gone way too far. Prisons are 5 star schools and drug dens for most prisoners.

Bring back hard labour and slopping out in prisons.

Any person who wants to cause harm to this country and lives here should be sent somewhere where his beliefs can be lived out and away from the UK. Even if he was born here. Or lock them up forever.

Why would they even consider pursuing for these offences, they were called out to a deal with two armed and dangerous individuals at large that instantly demonstrated that they were willing to use further force against officers. Seems a little weird to even bring that point up? or is it standard procedure?

Because without the risk of being investigated we run the risk of massive corruption.

I have no issues with the police being investigated in this case. As it looks pretty straight forward. In fact I think they should be commended for their actions.

Doesn't matter how much training somebody has. They have just fired a bullet into another human being.

no but they will still kill/be abusive/violent if you look like a goth, black, disabled, gay etc etc..

People are being mugged, raped etc every day and muslims arent doing that. So even if they were all gone, you would still have killings, stabbings etc.

Oh I remember thinking like this...the innocence of being freshly reverted...tho' tybob it kind of ignores, as some have stated, the intra-Muslim conflicts that have happened almost from year zero...certainly since the 'great fitna'.

This is the problem us muslims are facing. these people who cheat etc are giving everyone a bad name.

The converts/reverts actually practise Islam much better than born muslims, they understand the values and practise it better.

I wonder why us muslims are making mockery out of ourselves and our religion by being bunch of lunatics. The media has already turned against us, why cant we see this destruction happening and stop it!

what culture are you talking of? drinking? because that is the only difference between you & "us"! how are english people part of the "society" do you all sing cumbaya with your neighbours every night and us muslims don't? No.. do you all go on holidays together and we dont? No.. do you go out drinking? yes but ONLY with your friends..

Have you or anyone else bothered talking to a non-white person, being their friend etc etc? We are just like you. everyone most of the time keeps them to themselves, we dont suddenly start speaking to asian person any more than a non-asian person. We stick together in terms of family/relations just like everyone else. we have friends (white, black, chinese etc etc) just like you, we go to work, speak with colleagues etc, even go out to parties etc..

Sure the older generation doesn't do this because of language barriers etc but us young generation are!

The IPCC investigate all police shootings, it's just their odd way of saying it was a clean incident and the officers did their jobs properly.

I agree with you. It is a massive generation thing. My grandparents are very racist, My parents less so and myself I would like to think I am not at all racist. Some of the comments by friends and family over this make me want to slap them. I kind of let the grandparents comments slide as they are from another time but I try to educate my parents. I have plenty of friends from other cultures and ofcourse they are just like anyone else but with different stories, tastes etc. The only way to get over it is to actually be friends with people.
