***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

It's dependant on the carrier. For some reason the networks have the software rolled out at different times.

You could grab a generic 4.1.2 from samfirmwares (I think it's called) and flash it using odin.

Got bored with supernexus rom 2.0 after a month and now I'm back on stock samsung unrooted so I can get barclays banking app to work. Felt far too much like ios on my ipad and I started using the device in a limited way. I miss the speedy and lag free experience of the stock android rom but the samsung rom seems to have better battery and more useful inbuilt features such as camera software, video player, motion features as well as split screen for certain apps, blocking mode, s voice (actually half useful in the car), year view in calender, half decent calculator app and fm radio.

I am betting it was her own fault, probably bought some huge cheap battery (especially since that back casing doesn't look like the official/standard one.....)

Either way, nasty injury! :(

I thought the same when i seen the picture, the fake carbon-fibre look was never standard.

:(

Ive got a crack on the trim above the charging port. Whats the best thing to do, just put a smidge of superglue in there to stop it spreading further ??

If it's the same as the 3 on my silver trim just leave it. It doesn't get any worse or fall off. Mine is cracked all the way across the trim. One by the use, one by the top centre and the other just below the volume buttons.

Id be more paranoid about spilling the glue or getting it somewhere it shouldnt be.

Ive had the cracks for about 6-7 months without a problem.
Colleague at work has them too.

Ive never checked online as they seemed so insignificant, maybe some info help available. Have you looked?

The silver trim on mine is cracked/scratched too. I take good care of the phone, but it's probably taken a bump somewhere.

Crack hasn't got worse though, not sure if I can be bothered to fix it. Not even sure if you can?

edit: According to this, it looks like a right faff to replace. Think I'll leave it :p
